PSG's Senny Mayulu Injured During France U21 Match
Senny Mayulu, the 20-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, picked up an injury while playing for France’s U21 team. On Tuesday, under Gérald Baticle’s management, France secured a 2-0 win over Estonia but faced some setbacks.
The main concern was Ethan Mbappé, who left the field early with an ankle injury. Baticle expressed worry about the Lille OSC player’s condition. Later in the match, Mayulu also had to leave the pitch due to injury, casting doubt on his availability during the ongoing international break.
Mayulu exited just before halftime after experiencing pain in his left thigh. Baticle explained that this substitution was purely cautious, avoiding any unnecessary risks. This season, Mayulu has struggled for playing time at PSG, appearing in only four matches across all competitions and often missing out on squad selections.
