Kylian Mbappé Dominates La Liga with Scoring Streak

Kylian Mbappé’s scoring streak in Spain shows no sign of slowing down.

On Tuesday night at Elche, the Real Madrid forward delivered again in the sixth round of La Liga, underlining his status as the league’s most ruthless finisher so far this season.

The breakthrough moment came in the 33rd minute. Yan Diomande split the Elche back line with a superb ball, and Mbappé needed only one touch. One glance, one sweep of his right boot, and the ball was in the net. Madrid were two goals up, and the away end exploded.

The mood changed in an instant.

Moments after scoring, Mbappé collided with Elche goalkeeper Matías Dituro and stayed down. He lay on the turf for several minutes, team-mates surrounding him, Madrid fans suddenly silent. What had been a routine league night threatened to turn into a crisis.

Even without that second goal, the night still carried a milestone. The strike that did stand lifted Mbappé to the top of the La Liga scoring charts with 7 goals, one ahead of Barcelona duo Raphinha and Lamine Yamal.
