Juventus vs Parma: New-Look Attack in Turin Showdown

Juventus welcome Parma to the Allianz Stadium tonight with a reshaped frontline and key absences forcing Carlos Cuesta into early-season adjustments.

Juve without Yildiz and McKennie

Kenan Yildiz and Weston McKennie are both ruled out through injury, stripping Juventus of two important pieces in the attacking and midfield puzzle. To complicate matters, Kephren Thuram is not yet fully fit and could miss out on the matchday squad altogether.

Parma stick to their principles

Parma arrive in Turin with their own problems but no intention of abandoning their identity. Hans Nicolussi Caviglia, a Juventus academy product, is the only absentee for the visitors.

Despite opening their Serie A campaign with a 1-0 home defeat to Cagliari, Parma are expected to stick with a 4-3-3. Carlos Cuesta’s side will again look to build through midfield and attack with width rather than retreat into damage-limitation mode.

Sascha Britschgi returns from a one-match suspension and is likely to slot straight back in as an attacking winger, adding pace and directness out wide. El Bilal Touré is set to lead the line as the lone striker, tasked with unsettling a Juventus defence that is still bedding in new faces.
