The night at Arena MRV will decide everything.

Atlético-MG, armed with a 1–0 lead from Bragança Paulista, step onto their own pitch knowing a draw is enough to book a place in the CONMEBOL Sudamericana quarterfinals. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. (Brasília time), and Galo arrive in form and with their main pieces back in place.

Galo at full power

The 1–0 away win in the first leg and a convincing 3–0 victory over Grêmio in the Brasileirão have changed the mood around Atlético. Confidence is high, and the team goes with what it has best.

Natanael, Maycon, and Bernard, all rested and absent against Grêmio, return to the starting XI. The absences are known and significant: Thiago Borbas, who is owned by Bragantino, cannot play, while Igor Gomes, Scarpa, Léo Duarte, Lyanco, and Índio are sidelined through injury. That opens the door for Reinier to lead the line.

Atlético-MG’s starting lineup:
Everson; Natanael, Ruan, Vitor Hugo and Lodi; Alan Franco, Maycon, Victor Hugo and Bernard; Cuello and Reinier.

The message is clear: no management, no half-measures. Galo want to settle the tie in front of their fans.

Bragantino forced to attack

On the other side, Red Bull Bragantino arrive with no margin for error. They need to overturn the deficit away from home, against a team in rhythm and with the crowd behind it.

There is at least some good news. Mosquera and Rodriguinho are back in the squad, adding options for coach Pedro Caixinha in the final third. Only Rodriguinho, though, goes straight into the starting team, a sign of how much Bragantino will try to control the midfield and push higher up the pitch from the start.

RB Bragantino’s starting lineup:
Cleiton; Agustin Sant'Anna; Pedro Henrique, Gustavo Marques and Juninho Capixaba; Ramires, Rodriguinho and Lucas Barbosa; Herrera, Vinicinho and Isidro Pitta.

Bragantino know exactly what awaits them: a hostile Arena MRV, a confident Atlético, and 90 minutes to flip the script or say goodbye to the Sudamericana.
