Roma Pursues Nicolo Tresoldi as New Striker Target

Roma’s search for a fresh spearhead in Gian Piero Gasperini’s attack has taken a new turn. With pursuits of Mason Greenwood and Crysencio Summerville collapsing earlier this month, the Giallorossi have moved decisively onto a new name: Nicolo Tresoldi of Club Brugge.

The young German striker fits the kind of profile Gasperini craves – energetic, mobile, and with the potential to grow into a leading role. It is a target identified with conviction, not convenience.

According to Il Tempo reporters Filippo Biafora and Lorenzo Pes, Roma have already opened talks with Club Brugge to explore a deal. The dialogue is active, not tentative.

Crucially, Tresoldi has made his stance clear: he wants the move. The striker has already expressed his intention to join the Italian club, attracted by the prospect of working under Gasperini and leading Roma’s revamped front line.

There is, however, a familiar obstacle. Brugge continue to demand high figures for their forward, holding firm on their valuation despite the player’s desire to leave. Roma must now decide how far they are willing to push to give Gasperini the striker he has asked for.
