Newcastle Signs Aladji Bamba for £30m – A Bold Midfield Move

Newcastle have moved decisively in the transfer market again, sealing a £30m deal – rising to £35.5m with add-ons – for Monaco midfielder Aladji Bamba, one of Europe’s most highly regarded young holding players.

The 20-year-old France U20 international has signed a five-year contract and will take the No 8 shirt, the number vacated by Sandro Tonali after his £100m move to Tottenham earlier in the window.
