Manchester United have stepped up their pursuit of Atalanta midfielder Ederson, with the Brazilian emerging as a leading candidate to become the club’s first signing of the summer window, according to reports in Manchester.

United’s interest in the 26-year-old is not new. Scouts have been tracking him since last year, drawn to a profile that is less about glamour and more about graft.
