Liverpool Signs Natalia Ramos as Sixth Summer Addition

Liverpool have moved again in the transfer market, bringing in Spanish midfielder Natalia Ramos from CD Tenerife Femenino, subject to visa approval and international clearance.

At 27, Ramos arrives with serious mileage in her legs and a reputation for consistency. She leaves Tenerife after more than 200 appearances for the club, a mainstay in their rise and consolidation in Spain’s top flight. Last season alone she featured 30 times in Liga F, chipping in with 10 goals and five assists – numbers that underline a midfielder who influences games at both ends of the pitch.

For Liverpool, she is the sixth piece of an increasingly ambitious summer rebuild, joining Mao Itamura, Vivien Endemann, Sara Agrez, Mari Ward and Khiara Keating in a squad being reshaped with clear intent.

For Ramos, the move is as emotional as it is professional.

"I'm really, really happy," she said after signing. "I'm very excited to achieve this new step in my life and I'm very grateful for this new opportunity.

"For me it was a very easy decision and I'm very, very happy, with a lot of feelings and emotions because I know who the club is, the respect [it has]. I feel very happy and privileged to take this shirt and sign at the club."

Ramos arrives with pedigree on the international stage as well. She has represented Spain at Under-17 and Under-19 level and was part of the squad that lifted the 2017 Women's European Under-19 Championship in Northern Ireland, a tournament that showcased a generation now filtering into senior football across Europe.

Liverpool now wait on the final paperwork, but the direction is unmistakable: this is a squad being built to push harder, run further, and ask new questions of the teams above them. Ramos, battle-tested in Spain, steps into a league where her next answers will come quickly.
