Liverpool’s search for life after Mohamed Salah has taken a sharp turn towards Paris.

According to reports, the Anfield club are at the front of the queue for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola, as they look to replace the goals, chaos and sheer gravity Salah brought to their right flank for seven years. PSG value the France international at around £100 million, a figure that underlines how highly they rate the 21-year-old after just one season in Paris.

Liverpool are not alone. Arsenal and Bayern Munich are also tracking Barcola, with Arsenal’s interest sharpened by their failure to land Morgan Rogers. But the early indications point to Liverpool pushing hardest, determined to secure an “established winger” rather than gamble on a pure prospect in the post-Salah rebuild.
