The full calendar for the 2026-27 LaLiga season has been revealed, featuring 380 matches in Spain's top flight set between 15 August and 30 May. Barcelona will defend their title starting with a home match against Athletic Club, while Mourinho's Real Madrid face Real Sociedad in their opener.

Early Matches and Midweek Fixtures

Because some clubs had players involved in the World Cup semi-finals or final, four opening games will be played midweek around 25 to 27 August. These include Barcelona vs Athletic, Real Madrid vs Real Sociedad, Atlético Madrid vs Málaga, and Valencia vs Betis.

Promoted Teams and Stadium Notes

• Racing, Deportivo, and Málaga are the promoted sides, starting against Villarreal, Elche, and Atlético Madrid respectively.
• Due to stadium renovations, local events, or security reasons, Villarreal, Málaga, and Real Sociedad begin their campaigns away from home.
