Girona FC Secures Marlex Partnership Through 2026/27
Girona FC have secured a key piece of their off‑pitch project, tying down recruitment specialists Marlex as a main partner through the 2026/27 season.
The renewal keeps Marlex on the back of the first team shirt and firmly embedded in the club’s youth structure, a visibility that has grown steadily since the partnership began in the 2023/24 campaign. For Girona, it is more than a logo deal. It is a statement of continuity at a moment when the club is openly targeting a return to the top flight.
Club President's Statement
Club president Delfí Geli did not hide the importance of the agreement, framing it as a pillar of Girona’s broader sporting and institutional plan.
“We are very pleased that Marlex continues to stand by us for another season. Their confidence in the project demonstrates the strength of the relationship we have built over the years and allows us to keep moving forward with the support of companies that share our values and our way of understanding the Club's growth,” he said.
That alignment of values has become a recurring theme in Girona’s commercial strategy. The club have leaned heavily on local and regional partners to underpin a project that aims to be sustainable as well as ambitious.
Marlex's Perspective
On the Marlex side, the renewal lands as both a business decision and an emotional one. CEO Àlex Sanabras underlined the bond between company, club and city.
“As a company from Girona, continuing alongside Girona FC is a testament to our commitment to the Club and the city that has seen us born and grow. We are starting a new season where it will be necessary to stay united to make the Club's return to the first division possible. Now more than ever, orgull gironí,” he said.
The message is clear: this is a local firm doubling down at a decisive sporting juncture.
Founded in 1996, Marlex has grown into a leading Human Resources services company, with three decades of experience and a network of more than 80 offices across the peninsula. Its business is people, and Girona FC have been eager to stress the shared emphasis on attitude, commitment and teamwork – qualities the club insist run deeper than any résumé or balance sheet.
Those shared principles, both sides believe, are what have allowed the partnership to strengthen season after season. With the new deal signed and the Marlex name locked in on the shirt, Girona now turn to the pitch, where the real question waits: can that united front carry the club back to the first division?
