Cristian Romero Returns to Inter Milan in €40m Deal

Inter Milan have moved to the front of the summer market with a bold defensive coup, reaching an agreement in principle with Tottenham for Cristian Romero in a deal worth around €40 million (£34.2m), according to ESPN Argentina.

The 28-year-old World Cup winner is poised to return to familiar territory. Serie A is where he first carved out his reputation as one of Europe’s most ferocious and complete centre-backs, long before he became a cornerstone in North London.

Inter’s statement move
