Besiktas Makes Final Offer for Mohamed Salah: Decision Time
Besiktas have pushed their chips to the middle of the table for Mohamed Salah – and now they wait.
Club president Serdal Adali has confirmed that the Istanbul side have made what he calls their “final official offer” to the former Liverpool superstar, making it clear the next move belongs entirely to the Egyptian forward.
Now the decision lies with the player
Adali, speaking to Turkish outlet Ortacizgi, laid out the timeline of a pursuit that has been bubbling away in the background of the transfer window.
“As has been published in the media, we have for some time been conducting negotiations with Salah and his representatives regarding the details of the deal,” he said, outlining a process that has stretched over weeks rather than days.
The talks, he explained, moved into their decisive phase when Besiktas sat down with Salah’s camp to go through every aspect of the package on the table.
“In the final stage, we discussed the demands of the player and his representatives from all angles, and after mutual negotiations, we submitted our final official offer. We also asked them to inform us of their decision within a short period.”
The message is clear: Besiktas have gone as far as they are prepared to go.
“While our transfer work continues at full force, this is the current situation regarding Salah,” Adali continued. “We have assessed the amendments requested since the start of the negotiations, in line with the club's interests, and we have submitted our final offer. Now the decision lies with the player.”
No more back-and-forth. No more tweaks. The ball is at Salah’s feet.
Terms in place, eyes on the signature
Salah has been heavily linked with a move to Besiktas throughout the current window, his name circling around Istanbul as the club look for a marquee signing to spearhead their attack.
According to reliable Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Besiktas have already reached agreement on all personal terms with Salah and his agent. The proposed deal is a one-season contract, worth up to €12 million.
For Besiktas, it would be a statement signing. For Salah, it would be a new chapter in a career already defined by decisive choices.
The numbers are on the table. The negotiations are done.
Now everyone waits for one answer from one man.
