Barcelona has announced record financial results for the 2025-26 season, breaking the €1 billion revenue barrier for the first time in the club's history. The Catalan club will present these figures during a virtual Ordinary General Assembly scheduled for 19 September, showcasing their steady financial recovery.

General Assembly Scheduled to Reveal Full Details

The Barcelona Board of Directors has set the Ordinary General Assembly for Saturday, 19 September. The meeting will be broadcast from Auditori 1899 at Spotify Camp Nou and will cover the club’s financial outcomes and major achievements from the fiscal year.

The board finalized the plans in a meeting held on 3 September, promising to deliver full transparency by sharing detailed financial information with members ahead of the assembly.

Historic Revenue Milestone

The standout achievement in the 2025-26 financial report is the club surpassing €1 billion in revenue, a first for Barcelona. This milestone also means the club has recorded positive ordinary results for the third consecutive year, fulfilling their aim of financial stability amid a challenging transition phase.

"The meeting today was to present the annual accounts for the 25/26 season, which show positive ordinary results for a third consecutive season, as such meeting the target of financial stability in a season marked by significant operational and capacity considerations," the club stated.

Overcoming Stadium Capacity Limits

The financial success came despite strict limitations on matchday attendances. For part of the season, the first team split home games between the Estadi Johan Cruyff and Estadi Olímpic due to ongoing stadium construction.

Even after returning to Camp Nou, spectator numbers were capped at 42,000, far below the originally planned 60,000. Still, the club managed to almost fully meet its budget, defying expectations.

Bright Financial Future at Camp Nou

These results underline the massive earning potential of the Camp Nou once renovation is complete. The upgraded stadium is expected to be a major financial asset, helping Barcelona move further away from previous economic difficulties.

Besides matchday revenues, the club’s income was boosted by growing sponsorship deals and record sales through its merchandise subsidiary, BLM. These factors place the Blaugrana board in a strong position heading into the General Assembly.
