Arsenal Women Squad Number Changes for 2026/27 Season

The numbers on the back rarely tell the whole story, but at Arsenal this summer they certainly hint at where the responsibility is heading.

Four members of the women’s first-team squad have switched shirts ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, a quiet but telling reset of the hierarchy in key positions.

Player Changes

Daphne van Domselaar takes the gloves and the status that comes with them, moving to the No 1 shirt. It is the classic goalkeeper’s number, a statement that the Dutch international now stands firmly at the front of Arsenal’s plans between the posts.

Up front, Caitlin Foord steps into one of the most iconic jerseys in football. She will wear No 9, the centre-forward’s badge of honour, a number that has defined goalscorers for generations.
