Alex Scott wants Chelsea. That much is clear.

Scott’s Rise

Scott’s rise has been rapid.

That confidence has faded.

Talks have slowed, and Scott is now increasingly open about his desire to take the next step. Chelsea, aware of growing interest from around Europe, have accelerated their efforts in an attempt to get ahead of the pack and test Bournemouth’s resolve with a major bid.

Arsenal and Manchester City have both been credited with an interest in the England international, but neither has yet made a formal approach. For now, the only concrete offer on the table is Chelsea’s, and it has been firmly rejected.

International Recognition

Scott’s profile has been rising at international level too.

He missed out on selection for England’s World Cup squad but was called up to train with the senior group before the tournament began, a clear indication of how highly he is rated within the national setup.
