Napoli Targets Premier League Forwards Gabriel Jesus, Joshua Zirkzee, and Nicolas Jackson

Napoli have initiated talks for three forwards—Gabriel Jesus, Joshua Zirkzee, and Nicolas Jackson—as they seek to reinforce their attack ahead of the new season.

Hunting for New Scorers

With Romelu Lukaku's exit to Fenerbahce leaving a gap, Napoli’s search for attacking talent has intensified. The squad already includes David Neres, Rasmus Hojlund, Matteo Politano, and Alisson Santos, but the club is eager to add a reliable goal-getter to keep their competitive edge.

Sources like Gianluca Di Marzio reveal Napoli is examining several options to ensure a quick deal before the transfer window closes.

Gabriel Jesus: Proven Premier League Winner

Jesus first made his mark at Palmeiras, earning accolades such as Best Newcomer in 2015 and Bola de Ouro in 2016 while helping secure the club's first national league title in 22 years. His move to Manchester City in 2017 for £27 million led to four Premier League crowns and multiple domestic trophies.

In 2022, Jesus transferred to Arsenal for £45 million. Despite missing much of 2025 due to injury, he marked his return by scoring against Aston Villa in December.

Joshua Zirkzee: Rising Talent from Manchester United

Zirkzee, a product of Bayern Munich’s youth system, played on loan at Parma and Anderlecht before settling at Bologna in 2022. His strong performances earned him Serie A’s Best Under-23 player award and a spot in the Team of the Year for 2023–24, culminating in a move to Manchester United in July 2024.

Now, with limited opportunities at Old Trafford, his availability has attracted Napoli’s attention.

Nicolas Jackson: Chelsea’s Young Forward with Bundesliga Experience

Jackson advanced through Casa Sports and Villarreal before signing an eight-year contract with Chelsea in 2023 for around £32 million. He scored in the 2025 UEFA Conference League final and spent the 2025–26 season on loan at Bayern Munich for €16.5 million.

During his Bundesliga stint, Jackson netted a Champions League goal against Pafos and celebrated winning the 2025–26 Bundesliga title with Bayern after a victory over VfB Stuttgart.

Napoli now considers these three forwards seriously as they plan their next moves.
