Yvann Titi Signs New Contract with ESTAC Troyes

Yvann Titi has nailed his colours to the ESTAC Troyes mast.

The 20-year-old defender, courted by major Ligue 1 outfits such as AS Monaco and Lille OSC, has chosen to stay put, signing a new contract with the newly promoted side that runs until 2029.

For Troyes, it is a statement. For Titi, it is a bet on himself.

A World Cup runner-up with France’s U-17s three years ago, Titi has grown up inside the Troyes system. He joined the club six years ago and has climbed every rung, attracting interest not only from within France but from several foreign clubs this summer.

Troyes have refused to blink.

Stéphane Dumont sees more than just a defender. Titi has already shown he can operate both as a centre-back and a right-back, using his pace to shut down space and to burst forward, offering an extra attacking outlet down the flank.

That blend of speed and versatility earned him his first appearance in Ligue 1 last weekend, when ESTAC held Paris FC to a 0-0 draw. It was a quiet scoreline, but a loud moment for a player the club believe can anchor their future.

The signs were there in Ligue 2. During last season’s promotion campaign, Titi produced five assists in 20 appearances, numbers that underline how dangerous he can be when he steps into the final third.

Now comes the real test. He has his contract, his platform, and a place in France’s top flight.

The question is no longer whether clubs are watching him. It is how far he can push Troyes while they do.
