Tottenham's €60m Move for Omar Marmoush After Brentford Defeat

Tottenham did not wait long to answer their bruising Premier League start. Less than 24 hours after a 3-0 defeat at Brentford, the club have hit the accelerator in the transfer market.

Already closing in on Savinho from Manchester City for around €100 million, Spurs are now on the verge of landing another attacker linked to the champions: Omar Marmoush.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham and Manchester City have reached a full agreement for the Egyptian forward in a deal worth €60 million. All that remains is the formalities.

Marmoush, who previously played for Eintracht Frankfurt, is expected in London on Monday to undergo his medical and sign his contract, sealing a rapid response from a club suddenly under pressure.

One heavy loss, two major attacking signings lined up. Tottenham’s answer to that opening-day slap could define their entire season.
