Real Madrid Confirms Position on Endrick Amid Aston Villa and Roma Interest

Endrick has started the season with Real Madrid after a strong loan at Lyon, but his future remains unclear due to stiff competition in the squad's attack. This has sparked interest from clubs like Aston Villa, Roma, and Real Sociedad.

Reports from AS suggest that coach Jose Mourinho has left the decision about another loan spell to Endrick himself. Meanwhile, according to Trivela, Real Madrid does not plan to sell the young forward.

Pre-season Appearances and Position Battle

Endrick featured prominently during pre-season, starting matches such as the 2-2 draw against Fiorentina where he scored, and the victory over Ferencvaros. He played 75 minutes and 64 minutes respectively in these games, often deployed as the central striker in Mourinho’s 4-2-3-1 setup.

There is uncertainty about whether Endrick will settle as the number nine or shift to the right wing, a role he played while on loan at Lyon. Both positions have fierce competition, with players like Kylian Mbappe firmly established as the lead striker and Yan Diomande, acquired for over €85 million, expected to start on the right. Other contenders include Brahim Diaz, Arda Guler, Denzel Dumfries, and Bernardo Silva.

Interest from Other Clubs

Several clubs have shown interest in Endrick. Roma have reportedly asked about a potential loan, while Aston Villa, aiming to strengthen their attack ahead of their Champions League return, have submitted a loan offer. Despite this, Real Madrid have no plans to let Endrick go. Their strategy, unchanged since last December when Endrick was sidelined by Xabi Alonso, involved a January loan to help him gain experience before returning, with no option for a permanent transfer.
