Lazio Target Fikayo Tomori Amid Milan's Defensive Shift

Lazio are circling Fikayo Tomori, sensing an opportunity Milan can no longer ignore.

The English center-back has slipped down the pecking order at San Siro under new coach Ruben Amorim, and the Roman club have marked him out as a prime target to reshape their defense, according to Il Messaggero via LaLazioSiamoNoi.

Tomori’s fall has been sharp. Once a cornerstone of Milan’s back line after his 2021 arrival from Chelsea, the 28-year-old comes off a flat 2025/26 campaign. Thirty-three Serie A appearances brought plenty of minutes but not enough conviction, and Amorim has effectively moved on without him.

Milan’s stance reflects that shift. After bringing in Mario Gila from Lazio, the Rossoneri are ready to listen to offers for Tomori, whose contract runs only until the end of next season. Premier League interest, once a constant hum in the background of his career, has cooled. His future is stuck in neutral.

Lazio sense the gap.
