Everton Targets Man United Forward; PSG Close to Signing Red Devils Transfer Target

Everton are reportedly aiming to sign Manchester United striker Ethan Wheatley before the summer transfer window shuts. The 20-year-old forward has appeared four times for United's first team, with three of those in the Premier League during the 2023-24 season.

Wheatley spent recent spells out on loan at Walsall, Northampton Town, and Bradford City. This summer, he is expected to leave United permanently. While there is Championship interest, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano suggests that Everton are preparing a formal offer for the England Under-20 international.

Notably, Wheatley is absent from United's pre-season squad, hinting his departure from Old Trafford might happen soon.

PSG Near Deal for Ajax's Mika Godts

Paris Saint-Germain seem close to signing Ajax winger Mika Godts, who has attracted attention from several clubs including Manchester United. According to Romano, Godts has approved a move to the French champions this summer.

Negotiations between PSG and Ajax are ongoing, with the Dutch club reportedly asking around €60 million (£51.3m) for the 21-year-old Belgian international. Godts has made 113 appearances for Ajax, scoring 25 goals and assisting 27 times across all competitions.

He brings European experience, having played in both the Champions League and Europa League during his time at Ajax.

West Ham Set to Sell Dan Potts to Club Brugge

West Ham United have agreed to transfer midfielder Dan Potts to Club Brugge for roughly €12 million (£10.3m). Potts, aged 22, remains under contract with West Ham until 2029 and was expected to be significant for the club in the Championship.

Journalist Mike McGrath reports that Club Brugge see Potts as the perfect replacement for Raphael Onyedika, who is moving to Eintracht Frankfurt. Potts has made 28 appearances for West Ham in all competitions, contributing one assist, including 22 matches in the English top flight.
