Everton vs Crystal Palace: TV and Streaming Guide for Premier League Clash
The Premier League is back, and Everton are straight into it with a home test against Crystal Palace at the newly named Hill Dickinson Stadium.
It’s one of the opening fixtures of the new campaign, a 3pm kick-off on Saturday, August 22, and a meeting between two clubs who know each other well – and know that early points can shape a season.
Kick-off time and venue
- Date: Saturday, August 22
- Kick-off: 3pm (BST)
- Venue: Hill Dickinson Stadium
Everton edged the first Premier League meeting between these sides at this ground in October 2025, Jack Grealish stealing it with a last-minute winner. Palace will not have forgotten.
Is Everton vs Crystal Palace on TV in the UK?
No. The game falls under the traditional Saturday 3pm blackout in English football.
That means there is no live UK television broadcast of the full 90 minutes.
Fans at home are not completely in the dark, though. Sky Sports News will run its Soccer Saturday show from 12pm, with live studio coverage, goals as they go in and regular updates from across the country, including Everton vs Palace.
Live streaming options in the UK
The blackout rules also shut down official live video streaming for UK-based viewers. There is no legal live video stream for the match in Britain, either via websites or mobile apps.
Supporters can still listen in. Crystal Palace offer live audio commentary through the Official Crystal Palace App, available via a Palace TV+ subscription, giving fans a way to follow every kick without seeing it.
How to watch in the United States
Fans in the United States have a far simpler route.
The match will be shown live on USA Network, with kick-off at 10am ET. It will also be available to stream via NBC Sports platforms and the Peacock app, giving American viewers the choice of traditional cable or digital streaming.
Team news
Everton head into the opener with problems in midfield.
James Garner (groin) and Tim Iroegbunam (abductor) are both ruled out and will play no part. Summer signing Christian Norgaard is a doubt after a recent knock, leaving the manager with decisions to make in the centre of the pitch.
Crystal Palace’s preparations are slightly brighter. Adam Wharton is available again after an injury scare and should bolster their options. The concern sits in goal: Dean Henderson twisted his ankle in a pre-season game against Freiburg, and Palace will leave it late before deciding whether he can start.
Head-to-head record
History leans heavily in Everton’s favour.
Across 26 previous Premier League meetings between the clubs, Everton have 12 wins to Palace’s 3, with 11 draws. The Toffees also claimed that dramatic first league meeting at Hill Dickinson Stadium in October 2025, settled at the death by Grealish.
Palace arrive knowing the numbers. Everton know the precedent. The only question now is whether the new season writes a familiar script, or tears it up on opening weekend.
