Bradley Barcola Joins Liverpool on Long-Term Deal

Bradley Barcola has completed his move to Liverpool, signing a long-term deal at the AXA Training Centre after passing his medical and finalising the transfer.

The French forward, who will wear the No.29 shirt, could barely hide his emotion as he spoke to the club’s official website.

"It's a great pride to be able to play for Liverpool. I'm very happy," he said. "It took a long time but I'm really happy today to be able to play for Liverpool and all I want is to be on the pitch and be able to play.

"I hope to achieve very big things. First of all, winning the Premier League – it's one of my biggest dreams in my life. It is to do that and to stay in this team in the long term – that's why I signed a long contract – and I hope I can do it."

A versatile, high-tempo attacker who can operate anywhere across the front line, Barcola arrives on Merseyside after a prolific three-year spell with PSG. He made 152 appearances for the French champions, scoring 39 goals and supplying 35 assists.

His time at Parc des Princes brought serious silverware. Barcola helped PSG to back-to-back Champions League titles and three consecutive Ligue 1 crowns, establishing himself as one of Europe’s most dynamic young forwards on the biggest stages.

His rise began at Olympique Lyonnais, where he made his senior debut in November 2021. Across 47 outings for Lyon, he produced seven goals and 11 assists, form that earned him his move to PSG in August 2023.

The upward curve continued with France. Since making his international debut in June 2024, Barcola has collected 28 caps and scored six times. Three of those goals came at this summer’s World Cup, where he featured in every game of France’s run to a fourth-placed finish.

Now his ambitions stretch towards Anfield and a Premier League title race he has long dreamed of joining.
