Borussia Dortmund Maintains Perfect Start with 3-0 Win Over Paderborn

Borussia Dortmund kept their perfect Bundesliga start intact on Saturday, brushing aside newcomers SC Paderborn 07 with a composed, 3-0 home win that rarely looked in doubt.

Three games, three victories. This one was as controlled as they come.

Fast start, familiar finisher

The tone was set almost immediately. After just five minutes, Fábio Silva sliced through Paderborn’s back line, surged clear, rounded goalkeeper Nahuel Noll and calmly rolled in the opener. Marcel Sabitzer then thundered a shot against the bar as Dortmund hunted a third, the woodwork rattling as Paderborn clung on.

They didn’t hold out for long.

Nmecha, brimming with confidence, produced the moment of the afternoon. As the ball dropped in the box, he launched into a spectacular overhead kick, connecting cleanly and sending it past Noll to seal a 3-0 victory in emphatic fashion.

Three wins, three clean sheets, and a substitute leaving the pitch with the match ball. Dortmund’s start to the season already carries the look of a serious title challenge.
