Bayern Munich Target Man Utd Prodigy JJ Gabriel

Bayern Munich have emerged as one of the leading contenders to prise highly rated teenager JJ Gabriel away from Manchester United, with the youngster understood to have told the club he wants out and is not expected to pull on their shirt again.

Reports from The Sun and the Manchester Evening News say talks have already taken place between Bayern, Real Madrid and Gabriel’s camp as the 15-year-old explores a move away from Old Trafford in search of a new environment.

The negotiations are being steered by influential intermediary Ali Barat, the so‑called super-agent whose agency, Epic Sports, has been central in opening the door to two of Europe’s biggest clubs. Players under 16 cannot be formally represented by an agent, but Barat and Epic Sports are viewed as the favourites to officially take on Gabriel once he reaches that threshold, having already positioned themselves at the heart of discussions.

Bayern have not exactly hidden their admiration. Sporting director Christoph Freund publicly hailed Gabriel’s potential at a press conference last week, stopping just short of confirming the club’s intent.

“I don't talk about players who are under contract with other clubs. We know the player because he's very talented. He's an exceptional talent. I can't say anything more about that,” Freund said.

For now, United face the prospect of losing one of the brightest prospects in their system, while Bayern and Real circle a teenager already being talked about as a future star of the European game.
