Anderson Talisca Leaves Fenerbahce for Al-Jazira

Anderson Talisca’s time at Fenerbahce is over almost as quickly as it began.

The Turkish giants confirmed on X that they have terminated the Brazilian’s contract by mutual agreement, drawing a line under a short mid-season stint in Istanbul during the 2024-25 campaign. No dispute, no drama on the surface. Just a clean break.

“Anderson Talisca joined our team's ranks during the mid-season period of 2024-2025, and his contract has been terminated by mutual agreement between the two parties,” the club announced, before adding a polite farewell and best wishes for the next chapter of his career.

That next chapter is already mapped out.

According to Transfermarkt, citing journalist Resat Can Ozbudak, Talisca has reached an agreement with UAE side Al-Jazira. The move drops him straight back into the Gulf region and into a familiar kind of project: big money, big expectations, and another Brazilian alongside him.

At Al-Jazira, he is set to link up with compatriot Malcom, the former Al-Hilal forward. Two left-footed Brazilians, both with a taste for the spectacular, dropped into the same attack in Abu Dhabi. Defenders in the UAE Pro League will take note.

Ozbudak reports that Al-Jazira have agreed a two-year deal with Talisca, with an option for a third season. The financial package underlines how highly the club value him: the 30-year-old is expected to earn slightly more than €10 million per year.

For now, only the formalities stand between Talisca and his new shirt. He still has to complete his medical and sign the contracts.

Once that ink dries, another high-profile Brazilian will be back under the Gulf lights, and Fenerbahce will move on without a player they barely had time to truly see.
